What is the O.S.E.B.?
Objective of O.S.E.B.?
The O.S.E.B. is an Employment Ontario Program funded in part by the Government of Canada. It provides 42 weeks of financial assistance for personal living expenses while the entrepreuner is preparing to start their own business. It includes training and consultation support during the start up phase.
To assist eligible, unemployed individuals to create a full time, long term, sustainable business venture which suits their personality and skills.
The Assistance Does Not End There
During the initial start up phase of your business, the Oxford Small Business Support Centre will continue to monitor your progress through reports that you provide and site visits. Of course, you are also welcome to visit our office for access to resources and personal business consulting services.

As part of the O.S.E.B. program requirements, you will also attend complimentary business seminars. The Opportunity Knocks seminars provide relevant information to help you within your business in addition to various networking opportunities.
